ASAP Farm Tour 2014

The ASAP Farm Tour was a huge success. We had perfect weather and welcomed almost 300 people to Root Bottom Farm on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. There were self guided or guided tours and we transformed the barn into a giant farm stand. We had winter squash, microgreens, lettuce, arugula, collards, kale, chard, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, garlic, garlic butter, garlic samplers, pesto, carrots, beets, strawberry plants, blackberry plants, stickers and buttons for sale. We had a lot of great friends volunteer with parking, veggie stand sales and garden tours. Our neighbor also set up his BBQ food truck, Fish's Backporch BBQ, and sold Root Bottom Salad (microgreens & lettuce) and he smoked local pork from our friends at Dry Ridge Farm. He sold out both days. Here are a few photos I was able to take before we got busy and stayed busy.We had a blast all weekend and couldn't be happier with the turn out.
