Support Root Bottom Farm on ASAP's Farm Tour! Sept 20-21, 2014

We are proud to be one of the four farms representing Madison County this year on the ASAP Farm Tour!! Don't miss out on this great opportunity to see where your food comes from and meet the farmers who grow it.

Every year over 2,000 visitors participate in ASAP’s Farm Tour Weekend connecting people firsthand with the producers who grow their food.  Connecting farmers and consumers is a key goal of ASAP’s mission and helps us build a stronger local food system.

Who: 37 farms on the tour representing Appalachian Grown certified farms in Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Rutherford, and Yancey Counties of Western North Carolina
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 20-21, 2014 (1-6 pm)

<< Root Bottom Farm grows specialty crops including microgreens, vegetables, root crops, herbs, flowers and berries. We also specialize in multiple garlic varieties. See how we transformed an old tobacco farm into a diverse farm with established perennial crops, a fruit orchard, and two greenhouses. >>

If you or anyone you know might be interested in volunteering,
please contact us at rootbottom at gmail.com.

We are also excited to announce our friends at Fish's Backporch BBQ will be cooking up some pulled pork for Saturday! Back Porch Friends are the Best!
